Use steel fibre as an alternative to steel mesh in concrete on grade.
Engineered designs for large jointless concrete pours.
PERMAFORCE is a 38mm steel fibre for concrete, recommended for industrial applications as superior to mesh.
Wire Crimped Steel fibre is made of low carbon cold drawn steel and has a minimum tensile strength of over 700Mpa. The fibre contains deformations that run the full length of the fibre and give an incredible mechanical bond to the concrete matrix. PERMAFORCE fibre provides a uniform distribution of reinforcement throughout the concrete that increases the tensile strength, impact resistance, shear strength, and ductility of the concrete.
No sophisticated or expensive equipment is required to achieve uniform, ball free distribution of PERMAFORCE fibre in the concrete matrix. The undulations along the fibre length provide mechanical anchorage to the concrete, enhancing post first-crack strength.
PERMAFORCE fibre contains deformations that run the full length of the fibre giving an excellent mechanical anchorage to the concrete matrix increasing first crack resistance. These fibres will also increase the impact and abrasion resistance of the slab
Possibilities of wider joint spacings giving larger sawcut free slabs. Save on joint forming and maintenance costs along with removing saw cut costs and long term maintenance.
Substantially speeds up construction and reduces labour time by completely eliminating the need for steel mesh reinforcement. The possibilities of discharging directly from the ready-mix truck also has potential reduction or elimination of pumping costs.

SPECIFICATION TEXT: iNFORCE PERMAFORCE Steel Fibre.
Added at batching plant as per project specification.
The team at iNFORCE was pleased to engage with DMS Progrowers to design and optimise the floor of their purpose-built packhouse and cool store factory in Te Puke. Through utilizing the benefits of a steel fibre reinforcement, the client was able to remove the traditional steel mesh reinforcing, speeding up their construction times while increasing the load bearing capacity and durability of the floor.VIEW PROJECT
Calder Stewart approached Inforce to put together a jointless floor design for this Mainfreight build.
With significant forklift movements, removing saw cuts was critical in ensuring longevity and providing a maintenance-free floor.
The design features up to 30m panels intersected with armoured jointing, providing this facility with a fit-for-purpose build and delivering an excellent outcome for all involved.VIEW PROJECT
Inforce steel fibre designed warehouse floor with a highly burnished finish.VIEW PROJECT
Inforce worked with Humphries Construction to design the warehouse floor, polished showroom area and an extensive yard slab for Norwood Palmerston North.VIEW PROJECT
Inforce worked with Gibbon Construction and Coman Construction to deliver this warehouse and workshop facility utilizing steel fibre reinforcing to create large jointless floor panels (no sawcuts) to minimize long term damage on joints.VIEW PROJECT
The Wight Aluminium project, a commercial aluminium joinery & facade business located in Wanganui, was completed by Euroclass Design and Build. The new premises makes use of our iNFORCE Permaforce 38 steel fibre which offers a very durable and crack resistant slab, with exceptional load bearing capabilities to suit the commercial nature of the companies operations. Permaforce 38 performs very well under traffic loads, with Wight’s seeing large vehicles loading heavy materials and products in and out of the facility on a daily basis.VIEW PROJECT
We worked with Tuatara structures and CJ Industries to deliver over 5500m2 of Packhouse and Coolstore for Thomas Brothers Orchards in Riwaka. The coolstore concrete slab features our Permaforce® steel fibre reinforcement for superior durability, crack resistance and load bearing ability.VIEW PROJECT
Inforce worked with Higgins Concrete and MRB Building to design and deliver over 15,000m2 of heavy duty exterior log yard pavement using steel fibre reinforcing to replace steel mesh.
iNFORCE Permaforce steel fibre is the secret weapon behind Higgins Concrete’s work to deliver this 5000m2 high traffic yard and driveway slabs in Palmerston North. Using Permaforce steel fibres to replace steel mesh reinforcing meant a faster job with a better, higher performance result.VIEW PROJECT
A Permaforce steel fibre concrete slab was utilised to reinforce the floor throughout the warehouse, dispatch, and processing areas of this modern facility that handles extreme loading weights from product inventory, but is also subject to intense loads from heavy vehicle movements across the slab.VIEW PROJECT
iNFORCE were proud to be engaged by Coman Construction to provide fibre slab design on this iconic new building in Nelson for Pics Peanut Butter.VIEW PROJECT
iNFORCE worked with Russell Gordon Contracting to deliver this Waste Management Plant yard in Wiri using Permaforce steel fibre to replace steel mesh. The slab was designed using steel fibre to handle high truck traffic, heavy loader movements and movement of waste bins along with supporting fixed plant.VIEW PROJECT
