Auckland Southern Motorway SUP
The Auckland Southern Motorway SUP project required efficient pavement construction with consistent joint performance across multiple pours.
iNFORCE worked with project partners to optimise the construction approach through joint and formwork selection.
K Form was specified as a permanent formwork and construction joint system, combining edge formation and joint installation in a single process. This improved placement efficiency, ensured accurate dowel alignment and delivered reliable load transfer across slab joints.
Tuff Form plastic boxing was used to simplify edge detailing in key areas. Its lightweight modular system reduced setup time, minimised waste and improved finish quality compared to traditional timber formwork.
The outcome was a streamlined construction process with reduced labour input, improved consistency and durable joint performance suited to a high demand pavement environment.
