Inforce worked with Higgins Concrete and MRB Building to design and deliver over 15,000m2 of heavy duty exterior log yard pavement using steel fibre reinforcing to replace steel mesh.
We partnered with Higgins Concrete and MRB Building to deliver an optimized pavement solution for McCarthy’s heavy-duty external log yard. The design needed to withstand high axle loads, heavy machinery, and long-term log storage.
Using Permaforce steel fibre, we replaced traditional steel mesh to create a stronger, more durable slab tailored for this demanding application. Additionally, we incorporated K-Form construction joints, eliminating saw cuts and accelerating construction time, resulting in a robust and efficient solution.
