iNFORCE Acquisition of Markham Global Fibre Division
You may have already heard that Inforce have acquired the Concrete Fibre Division of Markham Global effective 1st September 2017.
Markham Global have been supplying Concrete Fibre for the past 20 years, being a leading supplier of concrete products to major infrastructure projects and builders across the country. Inforce is a new entity, but owned by the McGaveston family that has been involved in serving the New Zealand construction industry for many years with a civil supply company which we recently sold.
The acquisition by Inforce brings a specialist focus on concrete fibre, and will be passionate about helping share proven techniques taken from both here in NZ and from around the world to make concrete placing simpler and more cost effective through new and improving technology.
How does the acquisition benefit you?
1. A specialist focus on fibre:
Inforce will be specialising in concrete fibre, and this will bring succinct benefits to your operations in knowledge and design support, making fibre easier to for you to use onsite. We have the very user-friendly KForm jointing system from the UK in our product line-up also, which aligns with our desire to help make concrete easier to place.
2. Familiar Faces / Accounts stay open:
Many of you that have dealt with Markham fibre in the past will know Austen Griffiths and we are very pleased to note that he will be moving over to Inforce and bringing with him his experience of using fibre in hundreds of infrastructure projects around the country over the past decade. Inforce will be transferring all Markham accounts over to Inforce in view of a smooth transfer for you, and to facilitate fibre deliveries without delay. Simply email or call us 0800 463 672
3. International Alliances
Inforce will be partnering with some of the most knowledgeable people in the concrete fibre and jointing industry globally – bringing that support and experience to bear on infrastructure projects right here. We see this as a major advantage for infrastructure companies here in NZ where fibre has not been so widely used as in the UK and USA. We want to leverage that experience and have it available for you to draw on.
